Raffle !

The Rebounders Club, OSU Women’s Basketball Booster Group, is holding a raffle to win TWO 2008 OSU SEASON FOOTBALL TICKETS! That’s right two tickets to all 7 home games. The drawing will be held at our monthly meeting on May 7th at the Lane Avenue Holiday Inn and you do not need to be present to win. The raffle tickets are $25 each and a maximum of 400 chances will be sold.

To get your raffle ticket(s) mail a check made payable to:

Include a self addressed stamped envelope and we’ll mail your stubs back to you. Be sure to include a phone number so we can call you if you win!

BOWL TICKET RAFFLE RESULTS

We sold a total of 82 chances for the National Championship Bowl ticket raffle. The lucky winner was Gail Huber. Gail is a member of the Franklin County Alumni Club and had also purchased a ticket last year in our bowl ticket raffle. She had more luck this year! Gail is unable to attend the game but shared with me her plans for the tickets.

She has a son who is a senior at Kenyon College. He is involved with a group of students from the college that have gone to New Orleans on their school breaks to help with the clean-up efforts after Katrina. These students are very excited that on their next trip to New Orleans, they will be doing some drywall work and rebuilding work. Up until now their work has primarily consisted of tearing out and cleaning up. Gail plans to sell the tickets and donate the money to that group to help with the cost of their supplies.

I want to give a big “THANK YOU” to all of our members who participated in the raffle by buying or selling tickets. As a result of your involvement, we added $1265 to our treasury from this raffle.
